Wow. I would like to read your book. You speak more truthfully, to me at least, than C.S. Lewis. He will only go as far as saying: "The Incarnation is the supreme example; it leaves all previous ideas of the Messiah in ruins.” Lewis is substituting one idea for another.
You are willing to lay aside all conceptions of god. And appreciate what is: "Doubt, or the loss of belief, is an opportunity—a sacred invitation into a life of curiosity and wonder." I'd rather marvel than settle for being a destroyer of someone's icons, that is an iconoclast.
So I come back to wanting to read your book and see where the journey of open eyes, and the uncertainty of leaving old ways, took you.
The super sensitive/empathy part of me teared up 😭😢🥺 when I read the part where you were tearing up 😢🥺during your counseling session. Thank you for sharing a portion of your book 📖. I placed my hand on my heart 💙💔❤️🩹 when I read about your anxiety/panic attacks in church ⛪️.
